We are so very pleased to report that the Georgia Lactation Consultant Practice act has been signed by our governor. This law will provide licensure to lactation consultants in Georgia, thereby protecting the public from unqualified providers and enabling better reimbursement from insurance companies. It’s a really good thing for Georgia families. I’ll post the official press release as soon as it’s available.
